'Love Me' is an upcoming post-apocalyptic romance movie by Bleecker Street, with stars Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun, set to premiere this January 31st, 2025 in the United States.
Right from conception, 'Love Me' is a unique take on love and life, following the story of a satellite and a buoy "meeting" each other, and learning together what loving is, what it means to exist, and what they can be.
In a world were humans are extinct and all they have is the internet and each other, these AI have to navigate this new life they are creating together and the implications that it brings with it. An original and bold idea by Sam and Andy Zuchero, writers and directors for the film. This being their directorial debut.
The film was first shown back in January 2024 at Sundance Film Festival and it's been a year before we finally know that it's having a theatrical release.
Although the first opinions are not overwhelmingly positive, critics and attendees to the screening are saying it's a good enough film, with a lot of heart and great chemistry between the main actors, with a lot to say about life.
