Justin Tipping upcoming movie 'Him' will release September 19

The sophomore film by Justin Tipping, after releasing his debut back in 2016, is finally coming to theaters September 19 this 2025 by Universal Pictures, who just shared the first official poster for the movie 'Him'.

'Him' will be a horror film starring iconic comedy actor Marlon Wayans ('Scary Movie', 'White Chicks') and up and coming actor Tyriq Withers ('I Know What You Did Last Summer'), with the addition of other iconic names like actress and influencer Julia Fox ('Uncut Gems') and rappers Tierra Whack and Guapdad 4000, who will be making their acting debuts in this project. Tim Heidecker ('Us') and Jim Jefferies ('Killing Hasselhoff') are also on the cast.

The screenplay is by TV writers Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie, who previously created the thriller series 'Limetown', and this time around they are making a horror movie centered around sports, since we will be following a new talented athlete trying to make it (Withers) as he goes with a legendary coach (Wayans) that is close to retirement.

The specific details about the plot of Justin Tipping's 'Him' are almost none, besides that short premise, with only a poster featuring an American football and no trailer by Universal Pictures yet, not even information about the roles that actors like Fox, Whack and Guapdad will be playing. Although they'll probably be releasing more information soon, considering the film will premiere in the second half of the year.
