This marks the directional debut of William Golderberg (Argo), a veteran editor in Hollywood. Born in La Mirada, California, United States, Robles was born with only one leg for unknown reasons, but refused to wear a prosthetic leg, removing it at the age of 3. Nevertheless, the young man worked diligently to compensate for his missing leg, building his body through extensive exercise. When he finished his first year of high school in 2003 was left in last place in the wrestling team.
"I remember sitting in my bedroom that night just crying and debatin wheter or not I wanted to wrestle anymore" He declares to Vanity Fair. "If someone would've walked in that day and told me, "Hey, one day they're going to make a film about your life" - never in my wildest dreams". He affirms.
Unstoppable will make its worldwide debut at this year’s Toronto Film Festival before hitting select theaters in the U.S. and UK this December.
