After the overwhelming success of the first season for 'Wednesday', the Addam's Family reboot series starring Jenna Ortega, it is not a surprise that the mystery keeps on going on the second season, for which they shared the first teaser trailer.
Familiar faces are coming back for this season, with Catherine Zeta-Jones ('Chicago'), Luis Guzman ('Boogie Nights') and Isaac Ordonez ('A Wrinkle In Time') are coming back as Wednesday's family and taking on a more important role, while Emma Myers ('A Minecraft Movie') is coming back as her roommate. But of course, some important recognizable new faces have been joining this project, with names like Steve Buscemi ('Miracle Workers') and Lady Gaga ('Joker: Folie a Deux').
For the second season, we're picking up right after vacations end and Wednesday has to go back to Nevermore Academy to finish what she started and uncover the true culript of the horrible things going on after dark.
It will 8 episodes long just like the first season, with the difference that it will be hitting Netflix streaming platform in two parts, with the first four episodes releasing August 6, with Tim Burton and Paco Cabezas directing the first four, and Tim Burton and Angela Robinson directing the last four that will release on September 3rd.
