Netflix just shared the first official trailer for their upcoming black comedy 'Sirens', by writer and creator Molly Smith Metzler, known for the Netflix series 'Maid'.
The series, based on a play by Molly herself, stars Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy ('The White Lotus'), Oscar winner Julianne Moore ('May December') and the star of 'House of the dragon' season 1 Milly Alcock.
The series, with Margot Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment producing, will premiere on the platform on May 22. Following big sister Devon (Fahy) visiting her little sister Simone (Alcock) in a vacation state by the beach where she finds out about the weird manipulative relationship between Simone and her boss, Michaela Kell (Moore). As she tries to make her sister realize how weird things are, she ends up finding out everything that goes on in the underbelly of this seemingly beautiful place.
The black comedy seems to talk about power, and the predatory nature of high society, and with such talented actresses playing the parts, it is no doubt that 'Sirens' will become a fan favorite of Netflix's audiences quickly.
For instance, other members of the cast include Josh Segarra ('Abbott Elementary'), Glenn Howerton ('It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'), Lauren Weedman ('Will & Grace'), Britne Oldford ('The Umbrella Academy'), Jenn Lyon ('Dead Boy Detectives')
Therefore make sure you're adding 'Sirens' to your watchlist and get ready for a good binge, since this limited series will only be 5 episodes.
