Excentric female rapper and recording artist Rico Nasty is making her acting debut in the upcoming Apple TV+ and A24 series 'Margo's Got Money Troubles', that has been filming since early february with the main cast and is now adding more talents to their roster.
The series is an adaptation of the homonymous novel by Rufi Thorpe, with Elle Fanning ('The Great') as Margo Millet leading the cast alongside Oscar nominees Michelle Pfeiffer ('Love Field') and Nicole Kidman ('Babygirl') as Margo's mom and Margo's mediator in the middle of a legal case after Margo gets pregnant by her professor.
Nick Offerman ('Civil War'), Thaddea Graham ('Sex Education') and Greg Kinnear ('Little Men') are the remaining of the recurring cast, but some guests and minor roles have been joining in the adventure in the past few days alongside Rico Nasty, like Lindsey Normington ('Anora') and Michael Workeye ('Black Mirror')
'Margo's Got Money Troubles' follows Margo Millet and her tumultuous life growing with her single mom, an ex westler and Hooters server with a chaotic lifestyle. Everything in Margo's life starts going even more sideways when she gets pregnant by her college professor, and in an attempt to find a solution to her financial struggles, she opens an OnlyFans page in the hopes it would help.
A dark dramedy full of complex characters that thankfully got a deserving cast with the talent to bring these characters to life. We'll probably be getting a trailer and official release date by the second half of the year, and it's probable that the show will be up on Apple TV+ streaming services before the year ends.
