Billy Jensen is an American crime journalist, producer and on-air correspondent who specializes in unsolved murders, missing persons and the intersection of citizen detectives, law enforcement and technology.

show Crime Watch Daily, the first syndicated crime show in daytime (2015- ) He co-starred in the four-hour History Channel special on one of America's most infamous unsolved crimes, DB Cooper: Case Closed? (2016).
He has written crime stories for Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Magazine, Boston Magazine, Village Voice and the New York Times. A sought after expert on amateur digital detectives, Jensen presented his panel "Solving Murders With Social Media" at SXSW Interactive (2014) and the National Cybercrime Conference (2014). A native of Long Island, NY, Jensen has a master's degree in religious studies from the University of Kansas and played professional roller hockey (earning the first minor penalty in Major League Roller Hockey history).
